Vino Journals : Andreucci

Andreucci. Yes, it's Italian. Italian name, Italian wine, Italian FYYYYNE TIME! Legend has it, a Texan and his wife decided they wanted to experience the Italian lifestyle (who doesn't?!). So, they packed up their belongings and moved to Northern Italy. It was in the Italian countryside where they meet a seventh generation wine maker, whose family name is Andreucci. The Texans and the Italian quickly became good friends. And, thus, an idea was BORN. And the best place to set up wine shop in Texas? Fredericksburg.

And now you can find Andreucci Wines on Fredericksburg's Main Street. And, yes, they serve free prosecco. And YASSSSS it is some TASTY bubbly! Their wine list is heavy on the reds, which I enjoy. Their rosé is light and airy (perfect for summertime parties) and their cabernet is something I could drink all winter long.

October is Texas Wine Trail Month! Read more about the Wine Trail, here

Vino Journals

This is the inaugural post of the VINO JOURNALS. Where Living and Local will attempt to taste, document and compile all of the Fredericksburg wine experiences.
