Hope grew up as a Fredericksburg local - eating peaches, climbing Enchanted Rock and shopping on Main Street - graduating from Fredericksburg High School in 2011. After finishing up her degree in International Studies from Texas A&M University, she made the journey back home to the Hill Country. As a wanderluster and innately curious person, she constantly sets out to find the hidden gems in her backyard. Living and Local was started as a travel site with a goal of bridging the gap between tourist and local. In 2018, Hope moved to Auburn, Alabama to be closer to her (now!) husband. The scope of Living and Local has since expanded to include the southeast. Follow along for travel, lifestyle, fashion and millennial musings.
