Hot Summer Reads // Add These Titles to Your List
Summer has arrived, bringing with it scorching temperatures and the perfect excuse to indulge in captivating stories that transport us to far-off worlds and keep us entertained under the sun. I remember weekly trips to the library with my mom and little brother, nosing through the young adult fiction section and carefully selecting titles to come home with me. Summer is a time to escape! And if you can’t escape physically, let’s escape mentally.
This list of hot summer reads is a compilation of my own recommendations and recommendations given by YOU! I love hearing what titles have been capturing everyone’s attention. From romance to thrillers to historical fiction, this list has something for everyone.

Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus. I just finished this book and it was a fantastic read. Strong female characters, science, fame and tragic love.
Happy Place by Emily Henry. This book was easily my happy place for a week while I read it. A New England summer dream, a bunch of best friends and a lesson in fighting for love.
The People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry. A travel blogger chases the allure of luxe vacationing ... but then has to redefine her definition of success and happiness.
Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt. This book is an absolutely delightful story and is one of my favorite reads of 2023. A story of courage, finding your true self and fostering friendships.
The Bodyguard by Katherine Center. If you love Emily Henry novels, you'll love Katherine Center. Headstrong, feisty Texas gal is tasked with protecting a famous actor. Things aren't always as they seem to be ... a cute love story sprinkled with action.
