DIY Boujee Balloon Arch

Looking to create a boujee balloon arch for your next event?

My girlfriends and I recently hosted a wedding shower for some of our best couple friends. When thinking about decor, we wanted to do a balloon arch but without breaking the budget. My girlfriend, Reese, is a MASTER at party planning and taught us how to DIY one (and everything is available to order on Amazon).

BOUJEE DIY BALLOON ARCH

YOU WILL NEED:

- 12'' balloons (we ordered ~75 in both white and gold)

- 18'' balloons to add dimension (color of choice)

- Double-hole Tape (32 feet)

- Double-sided tape

- Command hooks

- String

- Scissors

- Electric Air Balloon Pump

ASSEMBLY:

1. Start by blowing up all of your balloons! The electric air pump comes in REAL handy here.

2. Measure the amount of double-hole tape you need for your arch and make cuts (if needed).

3. Assemble the arch by adding balloons to the double-hole tape (be sure to add in the 18’' balloons every couple of feet for extra dimension).

4. Evaluate where the arch needs extra balloons for volume and adhere to the existing arch by using double-sided tape or glue dots.

5. Use command hooks and string to hang your arch (having multiple people to hold up the arch is helpful).

6. TA DAH!

A gorgeous balloon arch! We LOVED how the arch turned out. Reese was the mastermind of putting it together, while Ashley and I supervised and offered helping hands when needed. We started assembling the arch ~11:30 (with a lunch break) and had it hung up and ready to go around 4:30/5pm. We specifically built in a lot of time, so we wouldn’t have to rush; however, definitely take timing into account!

Our guests of honor loved the white and gold celebration decor!
