Baby Nunnelley Nursery Sneak Peek
Baby Nunnelley is on her way! George and I have been slowly but surely making moves on decorating the nursery. Although, right now it seems to be more of a storage area …
When we found out we were having a baby girl, we knew we wanted a space that was anything but over-the-top and would grow with her over the years. We sprinkled in some sentimental touches that hold a special place in our hearts, like the framed embroidered pillowcases from our first trip to Mexico together and a pair of white and pink lace shoes from a family member.
First things first, we decided to go with a neutral color scheme to keep things timeless. Plus, this way, we could easily switch up the décor without breaking the bank as our little munchkin's personality and style develop.
To give the room that extra touch of love, we proudly displayed those framed embroidered pillowcases from our trip to Mexico. They're like little time capsules filled with adventure, making the nursery truly unique to us as a family. It's incredible how something so simple can hold so much meaning.
The biggest project George and I tackled in the nursery was installing picture frame molding as an accent wall. I felt like the room needed a little something extra for baby girl, so we looked up a few DIY blog posts and borrowed some power tools from friends. I’d say the project was an intermediate level, and George & I are not the most handy people. HOWEVER, we were able to install without too much of a headache (the project took a full weekend) and LOVE the way it turned out.
We're beyond excited to watch our little girl grow and thrive in this space filled with sentimental treasures and thoughtful touches. With its timeless charm and practical setup, we're confident that this nursery will be her safe haven for years to come. Our hearts are bursting with love, and we can't wait to create countless memories in this beautiful space we've crafted together as a family!
