30a Mother-Daughter Beach Weekend Itinerary & Packing List
Summer is shimmying herself into the weather picture, which means it is BEACH TIME. My first trip to 30a of the season is about to commence. My mother is celebrating a BIG OLE BIRTHDAY this year, and I convinced her to celebrate early with a 30A mother-daughter beach weekend! We’re both Texas natives, so we spent our summers traveling to Texas beaches growing up. If you’ve been to a Texas beach, you know it’s not quite the same experience as the white sparkling sands and aqua blue waters of the Florida panhandle. Needless to say, I’m THRILLED to show my momma the full 30A beachy experience.
So, I planned a 30a beach weekend full of bike riding, beach time, reading and cocktails. This is our 30a weekend itinerary! And, for geographic reference, we’re staying in Seacrest :)

If you haven’t played Tidal Ball yet, I would highly recommend adding it to your beach bag. It’s a mix of skeeball and bocce ball, but a very convenient packing size. George and I flew with it in our carry-on suitcase to Florida last winter.

BEACH WEEKEND PACKING LIST
White ruffle dress + platforms . The white dress is from a local Opelika boutique, Studio 3:19! Linking similar.
Jean-shorts + leopard print bikini + linen shirt + straw tote. Snagged these shorts off of Poshmark! They’re Levis.
Athleta Crop Sports Bra + Navy Bike Shorts. I love all things Athleta, but their stock sells fast. Linking my fave longline sports bra dupe from Amazon and biker shorts from Amazon!
Outdoor Voices Exercise Dress + FP waffle top (old). I’ll link a similar top at a great price point.
Seaside XL shirt + Athleta High Rise Mesh Racer Shorts. This is probably what I’ll be wearing 95% of my time at the beach.
Now I’m just crossing my fingers for a weather forecast full of sunshine. Cheers to summer!
