There’s really nothing better than a hot cup of tea, comfortable leggings and an over-sized sweatshirt. When the air has just a hint of holiday, my mood perks up by at least 10 (on a scale of 10).

And in the south, it takes until at least the end of October to feel like fall, but sometimes you’ll catch us dramatically wearing long sleeves in 80 degree weather (because its BORDERLINE chilly enough to break out the sweaters we can only wear 3 months out of the year). TRUE CONFESSIONS: I often crank down the AC and burn a fall scented candle in order to create my “ideal” fall atmosphere.

And, in the spirit of the season, I’ve compiled a list of some of my favorite fall items…

  1. This cozy Henley for less than $25 (cue wide eye emoji).

  2. A surprisingly affordable (AND DELICIOUS) fall scented candle. When I find them on sale, I buy multiple.

  3. WHITE BOOTIES (I’m drooling).

  4. THESE shimmer leggings from Athleta. I’m a huge fan of Athleta leggings and these are fantastic. I will often wear them when I need a little extra shimmer in my life … either with an oversized sweatshirt or a long white tunic + sweater.

  5. The cutest little mug (Anthro has the best home stuff)!

  6. My FAVORITE BLANKET quite possibly of all time. It’s heavy duty and SUPER soft (AKA you feel like you’re in a cloud. Or a Stark wrapped in fur).
